This movie is based on the book of the same name by Joanne Harris, published in 1999, which is part of a series of five books. (Another Johnny Depp movie about chocolate that is also based on a book?!!) In the movie, a woman and her young daughter move to a small town in France that is filled with religious, intolerant people. The woman and her chocolate shop seemingly change the course of the townspeople’s lives. Listen or watch to find out what we thought about this decadent movie.
